Can the minister confirm how much taxpayers’ money the Scottish Police Services Authority and now the SPA have spent to date in opposing Fiona McBride’s reinstatement, given that the legal fees for the Supreme Court case alone amount to a staggering £257,120?

I understand that the delay was because of on-going discussions with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, and I am interested in knowing the date on which COSLA wrote to all the local authorities.
Without that investment, only 66 per cent of premises would have been reached. To date, the programme has provided fibre broadband access to 4,215 premises in the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse constituency, 95 per cent of which are capable of accessing superfast speeds.
Audit Scotland also confirmed that the reform process had no adverse effect on the public, and reported savings to the public purse to date put the service on track to exceed expected savings of £328 million by 2027-28.
I will give you an undertaking: the ferries review will be published before the Christmas recess, come what may. Does the Government still plan to introduce the single route tenders for the ferry process?
