Report on the proposed draft Deposit and Return Scheme for Scotland Regulations 2020 - Management of glass across Europe
While there are challenges in including glass in the DRS the Committees' view is that the Scheme should be as comprehensive as possible and retrofitting glass into the scheme at a later date would be challenging. Homelessness in Scotland - Legislative Context - Homelessness
In November 2012, the Scottish Parliament approved the Homelessness (Abolition of Priority Need Test) (Scotland) Order 2012 which was implemented from 31 December 2012. From this date, unintentionally homeless households no longer have to be assessed as priority need to be considered for settled accommodation.
