Not too long ago, of course, we published the financial review of the expansion of that policy to date, which showed that, if anything, the Scottish Government has overfunded that commitment for local councils.
The Scottish Government makes funding available to private woodland owners for rhododendron control projects under the Scottish rural development programme forestry grant scheme. To date, more than £340,000 of FGS funding has been committed.
On the specific issue, we have to date had no assurances from the UK Government on the future of the services, benefits or rights to which Scots are currently entitled as members of the EU and the single market.
I am expecting it to report sometime after the summer recess. So this committee, certainly for the period into the early part of next term after the summer, will deal with finance and not the constitution.

Members will recall that the committee published a report on the petition earlier in the year, and that the Scottish Government responded to it just before the summer recess. The petitioners have commented on that response.
