Consideration by other Committees
The Finance and Constitution Committee issued a call for evidence on the Financial Memorandum for the Bill, with a closing date of 31 August 2018. Four responses were received, following which it agreed that it would give no further consideration to the Financial Memorandum.
Amendment 32 adds provision for Scottish Government ministers to specify, through regulations, the date on which “Sections 2, 3 and 4 come into force”.
Examples of this are as follows.
