At the end of the TSP the Official Controls Regulation will apply fully to all SPS goods, including those imported into GB from relevant third countries. The current end date for the TSP is 30 June 2022. The Instrument will change this date to 31 December 2022.

Any business agreed in the meantime will inevitably have to be arranged at very short notice which, you will appreciate, will be highly inconvenient for anyone invited to give evidence during this waiting period. as soon as possible would Clarifying the laying date (or the week of the laying date) therefore help the Committee, and indeed other parliamentary committees who intend to consider the draft Plan.

Non-Domestic Rates (Scotland) Bill: consideration prior to Stage 3 - Power to reduce or remit rates for certain organisations: guidance
In calculating the 40 days no account is to be taken of any time during which the Parliament is dissolved or is in recess for more than 4 days. If the Parliament resolves within the 40 days that the guidance proposed should not be issued, Ministers must not issue it.
