I wish the minister well, but my main point is that the questions are difficult and postponing them until a later date is not the right solution. If they can be answered prior to stage 3, that would do Parliament a service and it could avoid what I have identified as potential risks becoming actual ones.

I commend to the cabinet secretary the national museum of rural life in East Kilbride, which I had the pleasure of visiting over the summer recess. Very particular skills are required to maintain collections in specialist museums, not only in agricultural museums but in mining and industrial museums.
