United Kingdom’s Exit from the European Union To ask the Scottish Government what action it is taking in response to the UK Government proceeding to take the UK out of the EU on 31 January through the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill, despite the decision by the Scottish Parliament and the other devolved legislatures not to consent to the bill. (S5O-04077) It is a source of real sadness and regret on this, Scotland’s last full day—at this time—in the EU, that Scotland will be taken out of the EU by the UK Government, despite there being no democratic mandate for that withdrawal in Scotland.
