The UK Government has provided £97 million to the Scottish Government for the purposes of cladding remediation. To date, less than £5 million has been spent.
The Government is actively engaged in the process. After the recess, I will chair the convention of the Highlands and Islands, which is a further opportunity for that regional perspective to be considered.
I held a round-table meeting with probationers just before parliamentary recess and heard from them a number of different approaches to how they regard their employment, with people perhaps being less likely to move than they might have been in the past.
