I acknowledge the investment that has already been made, but is it a model that the Government will support and replicate more widely, both in Glasgow and throughout Scotland? Yes, I agree with Robert Brown. He is entirely correct that the initial figures show a dramatic result from the investment that is being made in those initiatives.

I do not have in front of me the figure for the part of Glasgow City Council's capital budget that is funded by the Scottish Government, but if my memory serves me right, it is of the order of £100 million per year. Mr Brown cannot tell me that that type of resource cannot be deployed effectively to support the schools infrastructure in the city of Glasgow....
