If Michael Marra wants another bite of the cherry because he did not ask a suitable question in the first place— That would be a matter for the Presiding Officer. The date that we will look at will be the date of the teacher census, because those are the official statistics.
The UK Government insists that the aim is to “take back control of our statute book” and to do so by a sunset date of the final day of 2023. All inherited EU laws will expire on that date unless they are expressly preserved in some form.

Certainly the budget here feels like it always gets a little bit later, although I do not think that the situation is as bad this year as it was last year, when the budget statement took place on the day before the Christmas recess. I understand that there then has to be a decision and a flow-through of money, but that has always been the case—Parliament always has to pass a budget by a certain date in February.
