Recess dates 9. This is in line with the recommendation in the Budget Process Review Group Final Report that the Medium-Term Financial Strategy is published following the UK Budget and at least four weeks prior to summer recess. We have separately advised the Scottish Fiscal Commission of the publication date, in line with the protocol agreed between the two bodies which requires that the Scottish Government gives the Commission at least 11 weeks’ notice of the expected publication date.
