I appreciate that the dates involved are different, but the Universities Scotland submission says that there were, at the last count, 95 graduates of clinical dentistry.

We tried to find out what the typical cost would be by asking for quotations on three types of building: a sheltered housing development, a care home and a house in multiple occupation. To date, we have been unable to get quotations because, surprisingly enough, firms are not falling over themselves to do this work.

The research that you mentioned from, I think, 1995 would be useless now, because it is so much out of date. Absolutely. When the Social Justice Committee dealt with the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, we spoke about local housing strategies, which provide a way to ensure that local authorities measure the wide need for housing.
