My experience from the few cases that I have dealt with that required a planning application is that they complied with the terms of the permission. To date, I have had no cause for concern with any of the sites.

We have made a number of recommendations to various councils over the years about the completeness of their asset registers, their procedures for keeping them up to date—for example, ensuring that disposals are timeously removed from asset registers—and the issue of whether the correct basis of valuation has been used.
