Has any written evidence come in for the Hampden inquiry? Yes. The closing date for evidence is Friday. As soon as it is collated it will be circulated to members.Thank you for your attendance.
We will seek a response at an early date from the Finance Committee on some financial procedural matters that have come before the committee, and the chief executive has raised some issues about how we pass private bills.
We should have that meeting as soon as possible, although we cannot yet commit to a specific date because the date will depend on the minister's diary.

When the Scottish Parliament sat in Aberdeen prior to the recess, the minister said that he would report progress on enabling University of Stirling education students to join the teacher induction scheme.
The committee has a fairly tight agenda for the next few meetings, so it is unlikely that we would be able to return to the item much—if it all—before the summer recess. If members want more information from the minister on specific issues, I would rather that we write to him for clarification.
Is there a timescale for the delivery of something fruitful from those discussions? We do not have an end date, but we are moving swiftly on the discussions.
