Charities Reorganisation (Scotland) Regulations 2007 (SSI 2007/204) We asked the Executive to explain whether it is intended that the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator's obligation in regulation 6(3) to send a copy of its decision to"any person that has sent it a notice of objection"extends to those objectors who have sent such a notice that arrives at OSCR after the latest date for receipt of objections. Members have seen a copy of the Executive's response.Are members content to draw the regulations to the attention of the lead committee and Parliament on the ground that the meaning of regulation 6(3) could be clearer?

If the directive has been amended a number of times, it is pretty important that we get those amendments so that we are kept up to date. Given the history of the relationship between the committee and the Executive, it should have been clear that if it does not supply all the information, we are going to question that.
