This Bill would apply in the following 3 circumstances: where any part of those trade agreements requires changes to domestic legislation and these changes are not made by exit day; to ensure the trade agreements work outside the original EU context, adjustments may need to be agreed, and that may require a change to UK law; and to ensure the agreements remain operable and up to date beyond exit day, and that where technical changes to the agreement are necessary, these can be implemented.
