I think that we need to go back even further than the beginning of the current process to see where we are. Although the process dates back to 2000-01, it reflects on how we used to do things before the Parliament was in existence.
Secondly, could that or similar problems be dealt with in the structure of the bill at a later date? In answer to your first question, those concerns are not pertinent to the central matter of the bill.
If any of our witnesses can come up with such information at a later date, it would be helpful if they could send it to us as it would help us to understand where the problem lies.
Such an approach will allow us to exchange information electronically, to look at the files and keep them up to date and to move quickly. After all, we know that offenders move around.
