Other parliaments
Embassies, High Commissions or Consulates General
Inter-parliamentary bodies which have been identified as partners by the Scottish Parliament
Individual MPs and their staff
IRO can support visits involving:
Speakers, Presidents or Presiding Officers (and their deputies)
Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Heads of Mission or Consuls General
Parliamentarians (if the aim of the visit is parliamentary rather than political)
Prime Ministers and government ministers (if the aim of the visit is parliamentary)
Officials
Please note:
visits generally do not take place on Mondays and Fridays or during recess...
