In conclusion, packaging EPR will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 2.2 million tonnes by 2023 and will provide an estimated £1.2 billion across the UK each year to local authorities for managing packaging waste. Actually, that 2023 date cannot be right. We will have to correct that date.
