We hope that your businesses will be around more or less for ever, but presumably you are not assuming that a set level of public support will be guaranteed for ever, as businesses cannot bank on that. Is it the industry's view that a reduced fares scheme would be a safer, more practical and sustainable option than a scheme under which travel is free?
