To ask the Scottish Executive what the cost of treatment of Gulf War veterans was to the NHS in (a) 1999-2000, (b) 2000-01 and (c) to date in 2001-02. This information is not available centrally.
Clearly, there is an appropriate time for planting of trees. Since we decided on the end date and focused on achieving it, everyone on the team has been determined to see the project through to completion by that date.
There are no time limits otherwise—for example, people may decide to take a holiday over a year or two or they may wish to take just one module a year.

To ask the Scottish Executive how many deaths have been notified to the Skipton Fund from 29 August 2003 to date. The overall number of claims from Scotland to the Skipton Fund on behalf of people who have died is 11.
To ask the Scottish Executive how many colleges have registered for the individual learning accounts scheme since its relaunch. To date 41 further education colleges have been registered approved ILA Scotland learning providers.
