We could suggest politely to the Executive that it would be good for it to use that date to do something more than that and to campaign to raise awareness of the provisions in the act.
We have to make best use of the time that we have available. I will contact members about the dates of the next two meetings. Can we ask about the venue for our meetings?
If we did not have such deadlines, there would be a danger of slippage and of missing the date when all the new licences go live—there will be a single date on which that happens.
I think that the meeting will be on Wednesday 23 February, but we are finalising the date—as members know, it is not always easy to find space in our diaries.
