Official Controls Extension of Transitional Periods 18 may 22

At the end of the TSP the Official Controls Regulation will apply fully to all SPS goods, including those imported into GB from relevant third countries. The current end date for the TSP is 30 June 2022. The Instrument will change this date to 31 December 2022.

With reference to the query regarding the Scottish Child Payment (SCP), I can confirm that through the 2022-23 Scottish Budget, we have brought forward the doubling of the Scottish Child Payment to £20 per week from 1 April 2022, immediately supporting around 103,000 children under the age of 6.
