The amendment does not apply to transactions with an effective date on or after 16 December 2022 where the contract for the transaction was entered into prior to 16 December 2022.

Many thanks for your letter of 7 January regarding the Fair Work direction-making power introduced to the Scottish National Investment Bank Bill at Stage 2.
As the Committee will be aware, the Bank has previously set out in written submission to the call for views (January 2022) its role in relation to Local Authorities.
Certain leases in schedule 1 of the Bill (including student lets and holiday lets) fall within the scope of the Bill but are not covered by the new rules on automatic continuation and will end on their termination dates.
