I see no problem with that, because opportunities are available. What Peter Peacock said about fishing is important.In relation to the promotion of local food, I hope that the minister will update us on his negotiations with supermarkets.

I presume that the format will change in the future, as what I said was well received.Secondly, I did not specifically address the issue of fishing, as my cabinet secretary colleague Richard Lochhead was involved in bilateral discussions the next day with the UK fisheries minister and we felt that that was the most constructive way forward.

Indeed, Orkney Island Gold and Orkney the Brand have proved particularly successful in highlighting what my constituency has to offer. The quality of the beef, lamb, fish and shellfish is being held in increasingly high regard in Scotland and internationally.
