To ask the Scottish Government for what reason Marine Scotland Science has deleted data on sea lice levels at salmon farms. Under The Fish Farming Businesses (Record Keeping) (Scotland) Order 2008, Schedule 1, Part 2) Marine Scotland Science can require that sea lice records be submitted for scrutiny.

I wonder whether funding support could be found to make that happen.I welcome the bill, as it dispenses with the archaic system of ultra-long leases, but we need to ensure that Registers of Scotland updates the land register.11:06 When I learned that I was to serve on the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee, I expected to expand my—at that stage—limited knowledge of farming, fishing and environmental issues. I am not sure that I expected to deal with a bill on long leases, and I am not sure that my committee colleagues would have expected to do so either.

Given that Highland Council procures diesel fuel for fishing vessels using the port of Lochinver, could the council do the same for vehicle and heating fuels in order to offer reduced costs for vehicle users and residents in many of our scattered communities?
