Inshore fisheries governance

These fisheries were worth £155 million at first sale value (the value at first purchase before processing into other seafood products) in 2021, which was 28% of the total value of all fish landed into Scotland. However, in terms of employment these fisheries accounted for 2072 (62%) of the 3357 FTE in Scotland’s fishing fleet.
