In a letter to the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee, Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform stated the following regarding replacement funding for EU Structural funds:
In light of the lack on information from the UK government on [sic] the Scottish Government has published its own consultation on the replacement for the EU structural Funds to give stakeholders the opportunity to input their experience and expertise to the development of any successor funding vehicle.

The revised UK Fisheries Bill - 3.1 Fisheries objectives - Clause 1
The new objectives are the:
(a) sustainability objective,
(b) precautionary objective,
(c) ecosystem objective,
(d) scientific evidence objective,
(e) bycatch objective,
(f) equal access objective,
(g) national benefit objective, and
(h) climate change objective.
Most objectives apply to “fish activities”, which broadly covers the catching, transportation and processing of fish, whether or not carried out in the course of business and so includes not only commercial fishing, but also recreational fishing.
