We continue to press the UK Government for more clarity on future funding for our farming and our fishing communities. I do not doubt the enormity of the challenge that the Government faces at this stage, so I congratulate Kate Forbes on the budget.

The news that the United Kingdom Government is reviewing how UK and European Union employment rights protections could be changed after Brexit is concerning, is it not? We have only to look at our fishing industry to see that it is clear that the UK Government will break any promise and sell out any group of workers, no matter the cost.
