To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with Her Majesty's Government with regard to funding a compensation scheme for the Scottish fishing industry. Following the outcome of the December Fisheries Council, I and officials have had numerous discussions with our Whitehall counterparts about support measures for the industry.
