Official Report Meeting date: 3 December 2025

Meeting of the Parliament 03 December 2025

We value culture in all its forms, which is why we increased the culture budget by more than £34 million in 2025-26 as part of our commitment to an additional £100 million per year by 2028-29.

Correspondence from Minister for Public Health and Womens Health to CPPPC

Merging the Neonatal Expenses Fund to create a single united fund, the Young Patients Family Fund (YPFF), was identified as one of the commitments the government would deliver within its first 100 days post-election, and we met this ambition with the launch of the fund on 26 July 2021. YPFF allows the parents/carers and/or siblings (under 18) of a young inpatient to claim costs associated with hospital visits.
