Whatever has happened has not brought credit to the Parliament. Members of the public must have faith in the absolute integrity of members and have complete trust in statements that they make.
If a delay were to arise, the cost would really depend on why the delay had arisen, in which part of the site and the effect that the delay would have on the other people on the site.
We have to leave considerable discretion with local councils, but I am not against returning to the matter and considering the future of rural schools.A decision has to be taken on Abercorn, given that it is more than 80 per cent full.
