Section 26 – Rectification of the Crofting Register
This section amends Part 2 of the Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010, focusing on how errors in the Crofting Register can be corrected.
The previous Prime Minister, Theresa May had committed to legislate in this way in a statement to the House of Commons on 26 February 2019.
This requirement has been removed from the new version of the Withdrawal Agreement Bill though the UK Government has committed to introducing such safeguards in a new Employment Bill1UK Government. (2019, December 19).
