To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-31797 by Lewis Macdonald on 4 December 2002, why it did not detail any discussions it has had with British Airways and Loganair about their internal (a) Scottish and (b) Highlands and Islands routes with specific regard to the Route Development Fund for air routes announced on 16 November 2002 and whether it will now do so. Officials are currently developing the detail of the Interim Route Development Fund in partnership with the appropriate agencies and airport operators.
