The paper on the Danish presidency will be helpful to members for our meeting with the Danish ambassador on 26 June. I suggest that we send out the Europe day paper, as was previously discussed.
There is a trip to London to see the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments. That committee meets on 26 October—a Tuesday—so Alasdair and I will be unavailable then.
One youngster could get away with that and encourage another to do it, but the other could die immediately from it. That is the danger and the message that we must convey to young people.
It is a major problem and if it is not tackled, pigeon racing in Scotland will die within 10 years. We have been anxious not to introduce any new criteria, but we have lifted the bar in all our existing criteria, which are published on our website, in our strategic plan and in our application packs.
For example, it is doing great work to make information available about civil procedures in different member states and has just published some excellent stuff on its website about, for example, how to get access to justice in Scotland.
Many of those documents are on the Executive's website, so I am not pre-announcing anything, which is apparently a great crime in the Scottish Executive.
One is the anti-bullying network, which is funded by the Executive and provides advice and guidance to schools and parents. The network also runs a website and online community for schools and parents.
Like Jamie Stone, I have not attended every meeting of this committee, but I have followed the debate closely by means of the evidence that has been produced and the website. A huge amount of written evidence has been received and we know what the issues are.
