Petition 1758 greyhound Scottish SPCA Dogs Trust and RSPCA

However, the organisations would like to reiterate that the call to ban greyhound racing is due to the danger of the activity itself, which is apparent in the number of injuries and deaths caused; there is an expectation that dogs will be injured and may die due to being involved in a race.
