The Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association, which acts and works on behalf of patients, has an opportunity to make that case. My officials have worked with the association to encourage it to do so and to make the case for the development of a managed clinical network, which would deliver many of the benefits that I am sure Mr Morgan is keen to have.

My officials recently met the north-east Scotland transport partnership, which is responsible for delivery of the study, to discuss progress and the next steps.
