“Coke, refined petroleum and chemical” product is the second largest manufacturing sector in terms of value of exports, at £3.7bn.
This resulted in an estimated 3,567 checks being completed and 1,757 onward referrals. Final figures for 2025-26 will be confirmed when the Scottish Government publishes its annual national data for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 in June 2026.
Do colleagues have any comments or thoughts in the light of the former Deputy First Minister’s latest response? I am reluctant to close the petition, even though the Scottish Government has said that it will not widen the scope of the inquiry.
