I propose that the inquiry's terms of reference should be:"To identify whether the Scottish Executive's Forward Strategy on Agriculture, published on 26 June 2001, sets out the vision and commitment that are necessary to develop a prosperous farming industry, sustainable rural communities, and environmental protection and enhancement."
In Derrick Thomson's case, the obligation is for 46 hours a year; for Scottish Television, it is 26 hours a year. We will continue to meet those obligations and will continue to show our regional programming and the programming that comes from the CCG.
We have made it clear that the proposal does not include a staff transfer, which means that local authorities will not have to transfer staff, unless they choose to do so.
