Community Empowerment: Taking Stock of Participation Requests and Asset Transfers Four Years On - Committee scrutiny

Participants, who included representatives of various community organisations, discussed their personal experiences of asset transfers and participation requests. A summary of discussions held during the meeting are available here (Participation Requests 1), here (Participation Requests 2), here (Asset Transfers 1) and here (Asset Transfers 2).Committee Members took part in an online meeting on 11 November hosted by Midlothian Voluntary Action. 31 individuals attended from community councils, voluntary sector organisations and community groups across Scotland to discuss their experiences of asset transfers and participation requests.
