As at March 2020, the two largest industry sectors, in terms of enterprise numbers, were ‘Professional, Scientific & Technical Activities’ (48,030 enterprises) and Construction (47,715 enterprises). Together, these sectors made up 26% of all private sector enterprises in Scotland's economy.

Long Covid Scotland Impact on our Lives Long Covid
"Worsened in big steps due to big stressors - trying to stay in work, trying to get help from doctors, losing my job, getting the vaccines, applying for benefits, finally getting some help but so debilitated that getting help is too much exertion for me so not even capable of getting the help now (“you’re too ill for this service” - me/cfs clinic)” Many people highlighted the impact of long COVID on their quality of life.
