How do we pull together the very large amount of information that is publicly available, often on websites—such as those of the Scottish Further Education Funding Council and the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council—into a form that is meaningful to ministers, departments and committees?

Much more is being done—such as action to ensure that the access restrictions are eased and that the information is provided to businesses and customers through dedicated phone lines and websites.
