Witnesses will be aware that our next round-table evidence session is about victims’ rights and victim support. We have talked a lot about the process up until the point of conviction and what happens before that, but not much about what happens after that point.

It is incredibly frustrating, usually after many years, to get to the point of starting to understand what might be going on in your life, being able to talk about it and seek support and then not being able to access it.
