In general, I am in favour of the committees running their own business. However, I will not die in a ditch over the issue. We should be doing as little as possible to encourage this practice.

To ask the Scottish Executive how many tenants organisations have withdrawn from the Glasgow housing stock transfer since the ballot on stock transfer was held.
The Council has undertaken a feasibility study of the potential for whole stock transfer and has now submitted a bid for funding to develop a transfer proposal.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether any land has been transferred from the Scottish Prison Service in each of the last five years; if so, where, why and to whom the transfer was made, and what the value of the land was.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether existing council tenants in Glasgow will still have the opportunity to buy their home should there be a yes vote in the Glasgow housing stock transfer ballot If tenants vote yes in the Glasgow housing stock transfer ballot, they will retain their Right to Buy in relation to the home that they occupy at the time of transfer.
