The Community Right to Buyin Part 2 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 provides real rights to purchase land whenit comes to be sold. The Crofting Community Right to Buy in part 3 of the actprovides a right to buy at any time.
It has impressed all of us.We feel that the power outlined in section 24(3) is okay. What about section 24(7), which deals with the registration of the tenant's interest to exercise the pre-emptive right to buy?
I agree with her on the light bulb issue. I also know where to buy old-style light bulbs. I can give her the name of the shop where I have just bought about 40 old-style light bulbs.
That has worked: this year, we have managed to give fishermen 40 per cent more days at sea than they would have had if the buy-back system had not been put in place.
