The Committee visited Glasgow Prestwick Airport on Monday 22 April 2024 and visited Ferguson Marine Port Glasgow on Monday 16 September 2024..
The purpose of the visit was to explore how the council is responding to that emergency, to help inform the Committee’s inquiry into the national housing emergency.
The new strategy builds on the 2019 strategy and sets out the Scottish Government’s approach to encouraging and supporting the take-up of Scottish benefits, as well as providing our best estimates of the take-up rates for the benefits that Social Security Scotland is delivering.
While the business plans and the allowances that were made available by the regulator do not take full account of the latest Government policy, Ofgem did recognise that policy was moving quickly.
