To ask the Scottish Government what new roads schemes are planned for the (a) A7, (b) A75, (c) A76, (d) A77 and (e) A701 trunk road within the boundaries of Dumfries and Galloway.
This group of amendments largely seeks to strengthen recording and reporting provisions in sections 23A, 24 and 26 of the bill. Safeguarding is at the heart of the amendments.
Let me move on to something else. Any new restrictions and local lockdowns have a significance because they have an impact on all our lives and wellbeing.
If the Scottish Government has made progress and a patient safety commissioner is to be established, we would want to know the timescales for that. That would be a good news story for the Government to tell the committee and might give the petitioners some confidence.
The lack of fair work that I referred to in the social care sector is part of a bigger problem, which has been identified today in a new report published by Common Weal.
