This follows a commitment from the Minister for Zero Carbon Buildings, Active Travel and Tenants’ Rights, who appeared before the Committee on 26 April, where the National Public Energy Agency was raised.
We expect to get the report back in October. We expect that a new Scottish veterinary service will at least be established within the current session of Parliament, subject to ensuring that we get the parliamentary time to deliver it.
I assure them that we will deliver Anne’s law. We need to take time to get it correct. As I said in my letter to the committee, I will come back with a new timetable for the new year, so I do not think that they are going to be waiting terribly long.
