Local Government Elections 2017 - Number and share of seats won

The number of seats won by Green candidates by local authority is higher by up to 2 seats (Edinburgh) and lower by one seat on only one local authority (Midlothian), with no change in 26 local authorities. Independent councillors won more than 70% of seats in three local authorities (Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands and Na h-Eileanan an Iar).
