To ask the Scottish Executive whether the current withdrawal of the DTZ Pieda Consulting report on the future of raspberry breeding in Scotland from its website will have implications for the consultation on this issue.
If we say to a citizen—for example, a pregnant mum in Bettyhill, Canisbay or Reay—that they will have a return trip of more than 200 miles to Inverness, there is a real safety issue; it is possible for someone to die in an ambulance or in a snowdrift.
For example, a judge might take into account the fact that someone was extremely old when they committed an offence and that the duration of the punishment would therefore have a more severe effect, as the individual would die sooner. Such age discrimination would not run counter to the European convention on human rights.
If a march is a major event that will attract a lot of publicity and media coverage, opportunities will be associated with that. Council websites and libraries could also be used.
